Bright Idea for Consumers to Save Energy and Euros

From 1st of September, energy inefficient light bulbs are being phased out from the market place.

An EU regulation comes into force today, which will save consumers money as well as reduce CO2 emissions. By replacing your old standard 100w light bulb with an energy efficient light bulb and using three hours of electricity a day, will save you over €14 per annum- that’s a €14 saving for just one light bulb!

How much money will you save because of this EU directive? You can use the following easy-to-use calculator
