Mobile roaming charges cut

From the 1st July 2009, under new EU rules, costs will fall for Irish consumers using their mobile phones abroad in the EU.

From the 1st July 2009, under new EU rules, costs will fall for Irish consumers using their mobile phones abroad in the EU. With the entry into force of EU regulation, roaming text, data and voice services will be cheaper and per second billing will be introduced.
