Danuta Gray, CEO of O2 Ireland tells us about the impact of the EU on business

Danuta Gray is Chief Executive of Telefónica O2 Ireland, the second largest mobile communications company in the Irish market, with over 1.6 million customers. Danuta has held this position since 2001.
 

She is a board member of Irish Permanent TSB and in August 2006 was appointed non-executive Director of Aer Lingus by the then Minister for Transport, Martin Cullen T.D. Danuta has also been appointed Chairperson to the Board of children’s charity Barretstown Gang Camp.

With over 15 years experience in the mobile industry, Danuta joined O2 Ireland from BT Europe in Germany, where she held the position of Director and was responsible for managing BT’s investment in VIAG Interkom (now Telefónica O2 Germany GmbH & Co OHG). Prior to this Danuta was General Manager at BT Mobile in the UK, having previously held a number of management positions in companies throughout the USA, Singapore and Switzerland.

Danuta studied at the University of Lausanne and the London Business School. She holds a BSc in BioPhysics from the University of Leeds and an MBA in Executive Development Programmes.
